Document management vs. document storage (something we shouldn’t have to explain)

This year’s Good Bad Ugly survey of the Australian accounting industry revealed that 16% of firms are still operating without a document management system.

16%. Doesn’t sound like a lot.

But that 16% of the Australian accounting industry is thousands of accountants wasting hours per week doing something that pre-schoolers do: hide and seek.

We think that everyone – not just accountants – should be using a true document management system. Not document storage like Windows Explorer or Dropbox, but real, intelligent, document management.
